On October 1, 2008 the Ken Kennedy Institute and IT will be hosting the first ever HPC Users Workshop at Rice. The goal is to make this an annual workshop where HPC users get together to share and discuss research challenges and computing needs.
We are interested in hearing from you about your software and software-needs as well as hardware and hardware-needs. The workshop will feature several talks and posters as well as a user-forum at the end of the workshop where we will collect user input and discuss infrastructure challenges moving forward.
*Call for Posters:* All users (not just limited to users on RTC, ADA and
SUG@R)
should seriously consider preparing a poster for the workshop highlighting your research enabled by computing.
